Can you get gastro from a swimming pool?

Sometimes, when a pool is very busy or hasn’t been properly treated with pool chemicals, germs can increase.
Germs in swimming pools can cause diseases for example infections of the ear, eye, skin and chest, as well as gastroenteritis. Also, strong chemicals in pool water can sometimes cause eye and skin irritations.

  • Add the required chemicals in spa
  • Clean or change your filters regularly
  • Use a debris remover to keep the debris out
  • Empty the hot tub every 6 months
  • Disinfect your hot tub regularly
  • Fill with filtered water
